Join Art Workshop to explore painting, drawing, mixed media, and more under the guidance of Ashlawn's very own kindergarten teacher and art lover, Ms. Walsh! Students will discover and develop artistic skills while embracing their unique style in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our workshops inspire creativity, helping students unlock their artistic potential and nurture their passion for art!

POM PRO 1st-5th

Pom Pro is designed to introduce dancers to the basics of proper jazz and hip hop dance technique while including the sharp synchronized movements and visual effects of working with pom-poms! Class curriculum will include a proper warm-up and stretches, jazz, kickline, turn, leap, jump and Pom technique. Dancers will receive pom-poms with their enrollment package and conclude the session with an in-class performance.

Mangia! Cooking with Kids K-5th

Join us for a fun-filled adventure in the kitchen with Ms. Raffa as we explore the delicious world of Italian cuisine! In this hands-on class, kids will learn to make classic Italian dishes, like homemade lasagna, crispy cannolis, personalized pizzas, and fresh handmade pasta. Our chefs will gain valuable skills in working with ingredients and kitchen tools, all while staying safe and having fun. Whether it's rolling dough, mixing sauces, or assembling tasty treats, each lesson is designed to be both educational and delicious. 

** Please note: since this is an Italian cuisine focused class, we will have ingredients that contain gluten, dairy and eggs. Substitute ingredients will unfortunately not be offered/available. Taught by Ms. Raffa!

Chess K-5th

Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Experiment-A-Mania K-5th

Experiment-a-mania is a cornucopia of experiments! Students will uncover the vital role that science plays in detective work, examine the science behind popular toys and get a buzz out the amazing world of insects! Your Mad Scientists will explore Earth Science, weather phenomena, and experiment with some kitchen chemistry. Children will build their own Mad Science Machine and create their very own short animated cartoon!

Shake It Off! - Dance with Ms. Raffa K-5th

Join Ms. Raffa for an exciting and relaxing after-school enrichment class where we'll mix jazz, modern dance, and yoga for a fun and energizing experience! In this class, you'll get to move, groove, and learn to dance to your favorite songs, ending the class with some calming yoga to stretch and unwind. Whether you're a dancer at heart or just love trying new things, this class has something for everyone! Get ready to let loose, have fun, and feel amazing.

Minecraft: Creative Building K-5th

Spawn into a world of endless possibilities! Join us for a fun-filled Minecraft adventure where your child will learn to build, design, and engineer their way to endless creativity. In this class, your child will learn essential Minecraft/Gaming skills, including building techniques, spatial reasoning, block physics, and a taste of redstone engineering! Children will have a blast building their dream home, creating 2D art, cobblestone towers using lava, animal farms and more! This class is fun for children of all levels, from beginners to experienced Minecraft players. No device needed! Join us and let your child's imagination soar!

Movie Makers with Kidcreate Studio 1st-5th

Get into the fun of creating our favorite movie characters! Kids will draw, paint, and sculpt from their favorite movies like Zootopia, Sing, even the Grinch! Your movie lover won't want to miss this fun filled class and will be so excited to show you their creation each week!

Karate K-5th

​​Zen Budo Karate teaches the Japanese art of self defense in an after school class format. Students learn punching and kicking skills, target and pad practice, self control and discipline and how to follow instructions alongside leadership skills. Students can advance in belt rank, learn memorized patterns, escapes from grabs, and the basics of martial arts.

Tennis K-5th

This is a group play activity class featuring action-based tennis drills and games for children in grades K-5 of all ability levels. This program emphasizes movement and fun using age-appropriate equipment in addition to developing tennis and athletic skills while improving health and fitness! Our goal is to create a more challenging and social interactive program for the kids who are working their way up from Tennis-Tots. This further enhances and speeds up the learning experience while building good communication, teamwork and improved tennis skills.

Hungry Hungry Science K-2nd

Need some science to sink your teeth into? In Hungry Hungry Science we will explore different scientific concepts using food as our main vehicle for experimentation. We will not only use ingredients to explain different ideas through simple recipes, but make edible experiments as well to learn about reactions, acids & basis, biology, nutrition and more!
